Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Not only was I mistreated in a hospital setting; my mother did not receive appropriate care and having a hospital advocate was not helpful. There was nobody to turn to for assistance in swift resolutions, the nightmare continued after discharge- lacking knowledge of negotiating with insurance and not being able to obtain medications necessary for diagnoses.
