I am passionate about advocating for individuals living with chronic illness, providing compassionate and expert support to ensure they receive the best care, access to resources, and the guidance they need to navigate both healthcare and insurance systems (including Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare (A+B, C/D+), VA and Tricare). My mission is to empower patients by equipping them with the information and resources necessary to take control of their healthcare journey and make well-informed decisions about their health.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Everyone has helped family members through tough medical times, so had I. My father passed from cancer, then my grandmother, then my stepmom. However, in 5 years of working at a chronic pain clinic, and seeing more than 500 patients be gaslit, blown off, and mistreated by other doctors, that I started to take it personally. I felt their stories and took on their pain as my own. I told them we would fight together to get them better healthcare and insurance coverage together. Upon the sudden passing of my boss in 2024, I didn't want that fighting to end, and continues that path with most of those patients.

I have a unique set of knowledge in various issues, such as navigating insurance, making informed treatment decisions and ensuring that patients receive the care they require. I have extensive knowledge of Connective Tissue Disorders [EDS (hEDS, vEDS, Classical), Marfans], MCAS, All Dysautonomic Disorders, Autoimmune (RA, AS, PsA, PsO, Sjogrens, Gout), Pain (Fibromyalgia, Centralized Pain Disorder), Fatigue (ME/CFS), Sleep Disorders, Mental Health (including ADHD and neurodiv.), Post-Acute Covid Syndrome (Long Covid), Neurological disorders (migraine, neuropathy, movement disorders), and other rare and chronic diseases.
Professional Affiliations
Starting in 2018, I began working in the office the world renouned Dr Fred Kantrowitz, who specialized in Rare Disease Diagnostics and the treatment of Pain and Fatigue based disorders. That's when we started having informal lessons on various disease states that he hadn't had the chance to teach since he had retired from academia but missed it immensely. We spent countless hours discussing unique cases and illnesses he had encountered over his 45 years of practicing. Over nearly seven years, I gained invaluable knowledge and applied it while caring for a diverse patient population.
