How I Can Help
My main focus is helping those who suspect EDS, POTS, Dysautonomia, and Occipital Neuralgia to gain a deeper understanding of the conditions, the diagnostic process, how to speak to providers and family about the conditions, common treatment approaches, pitfalls to avoid. My goal is to make this complex medical tangle understandable.
For example, I often speak to patients who are lost because a doctor has said, "not POTS, good luck" and don't know where to go next. I can help you to understand the potential other diagnoses in this mix, why "not now" doesn't mean "not POTS", and help find local providers who do understand our complex conditions.

My Survivor Support Advocacy Qualifications
I am a survivor of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, hEDS, Dysautonomia, Occipital Neuralgia
I was diagnosed by accident at 32, after having had EDS symptoms literally since the moment of birth. I've had extensive hand and wrist surgeries, multiple abdominal surgeries, and been near permanent disability at least 3 times. Currently, at 56, I work a high stress desk job all day, and am able to enjoy activities such as horseback riding and more.
