Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
A nationally board certified Physician Assistant with more than two decades of clinical experience, I am a seasoned practitioner with a compassionate approach to patient care and a dedication to empowering clients to navigate the healthcare system.
With a master’s degree in medical science from Emory University Physician Assistant Program, I embarked on my career in 1997 as a healthcare provider in Internal Medicine in Decatur, Georgia. My breadth of experience includes adult medicine, orthopedic medical optimization for total joint replacement surgeries and obesity medicine.
After relocating with my young family back to my native New England, I continued to work part-time in internal medicine while also dedicating energy to raising two daughters. During this time, I frequently used my medical background and knowledge to listen, interpret and guide not only patients but also their family and friends.
