Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I am an attorney and I hold a Master of Science in HealthCare Leadership with a focus on policy and law. In the middle of my M.S. program studies, I received a breast cancer diagnosis. A few years later I experienced a recurrence. I understand how difficult it is to navigate the health care system, especially for diagnoses requiring complex care. My goal is to use my education, skills, and personal experience to help others focus on their care and worry less about understanding lab work, health care vernacular, and medical billing or other legal related issues.
