Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Maureen Rulison, President has spent almost 30 years providing care coordination for elders, disabled individuals, and their Care Partners to navigate the aging, disease or disability challenges and opportunities. It began with Medicaid & VA Aid & Attendance Planning. Quickly she saw that “how to pay” was just a part of what was needed. Since the company already worked with attorneys, Caregiver Support & Resources was also able to assist with Legal & Life Care Planning. We have also built a “Tried and Trusted” Referral Partner Group that allows us to offer our clients continuity of care when we are not the expert needed. When my husband was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s, I became his Care Partner. This has added perspective to what people’s needs are and provided me with a deeper understanding. This event also caused me to seek out a way to bundle what the company had to offer. Patient Advocacy, with a specialization in working with Person Living with Dementia was the answer.
