How I Can Help
I help family members who want to support a caregiver—as well as caregivers themselves—navigate the challenges of complex caregiving situations. Many family members want to help but worry about adding stress—especially if they live too far away, aren’t able to provide hands-on care, or face complicated family dynamics. Primary caregivers often need guidance too, from organizing care priorities to communicating effectively with family and healthcare providers.

Through my Caregiver Clarity Call, a 45-minute personalized session, I help you:

Identify areas of real need and create a strategy – Develop an immediate plan for practical support, including transportation and errands, meals and household needs, medical communication and patient portals, financial and legal tasks, home safety and equipment, childcare, and appointments or mediation.

Address or work around past drama and conflicts – Navigate sensitive family dynamics so you can support the caregiver without escalating tension.

Find your place in the caregiving journey – Clarify what you can do, what’s best left to others, and how to step in without adding stress.

Communicate with confidence – Learn how to talk with the primary caregiver, family members, and providers in ways that are clear, respectful, and effective. This also includes knowing when and how to put important information in writing, document concerns or changes, and use patient portal messages to keep a clear record.

Get organized for real-life caregiving – Sort medical notes, schedules, and priorities so every action feels purposeful and manageable.

Discover solutions that actually work for your family – Receive guidance tailored to your household, relationships, and unique circumstances.

I guide both family members and caregivers to real, practical solutions—what actually works in your household and relationships—so support is effective, harmonious, and sustainable.

Why work with me?
I combine professional expertise with personal insight, empowering family members and caregivers to step in confidently, maintain harmony, and make a tangible difference in the caregiving journey.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
By the age of six, my mother taught me and my siblings how to recognize the signs of distress when my father was ill. We learned how to gently elevate his head and feet with pillows and how to call 9-1-1 — by that time, he had already survived several heart attacks. Those early lessons in caregiving shaped the way I viewed compassion, responsibility, and family.

Much later in life, I managed my mother’s care, navigating the complex and often frustrating realities of healthcare systems. Those experiences gave me first-hand understanding and deep empathy for family members who care for their loved ones while trying to hold their own lives together.

Becoming a professional advocate and family caregiver coach was a natural extension of that lifelong calling. My personal journey fuels my commitment to help other families feel informed, supported, and empowered as they care for those they love.
