How I Can Help
My non-profit experience gives me a unique ability to apply my knowledge in building partnerships with families and medical teams, health policy, and conflict resolution. Some of my non-profit process knowledge includes community partnership building, fundraising, research, and grant writing.

The unique role of being a caregiver, cancer patient, and person with disabilities is the foundation for my work. I sincerely appreciate the research that medical and scientific professionals do to improve, prevent, or lessen the impact of disease or disability. I strive to continue my work, seek new learning opportunities, and serve others.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
In 2017, my husband was diagnosed with squamous cell head and neck cancer. I spent months learning about his type of cancer, advocating for him, and educating community groups about head and neck cancer. In late summer of 2019, his oncologist found his cancer had spread to his lungs, lymph nodes, and liver. He passed away in 2021.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018. I researched to learn more about my type of breast cancer and am currently in maintenance treatment. My passion is providing a voice to cancer patients and caregivers.
