How I Can Help
I help all Parkinsons patients but love working with hispanic communities and women ..have ample experience in all realms of treatment and care as well as in participation in advocacy and research studies .. plus also have extensive experience in working with caregivers from a personal point of view
Important Information About Me
  • My geographical area of practice is Texas
Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My passion for neurology and caring for patients and their families took a more personal note when I personally diagnosed my grandmother with Parkinsons becoming her provider along with her doctors in Mexico where she resided and then becoming her full time caregiver when my grandfather passed away. I later develop Parkinsons myself at a young age in the prime of my life while raising family and busy private practice ..given my unique perspective I felt I was uniquely positioned to advocate for my patients and other who had no voice and to improve everyone’s journey and quality of life with illness. I have published 3 books which have begun a movement around the globe in improving access to care decreasing discrepancies in care and in research.
