Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
A Family Physician for four decades, I bring extensive experience and a profound understanding of the healthcare landscape. Recognizing the significant impact a personal advocate can have, I am dedicated to supporting individuals and families in navigating this complex system with confidence. My expertise spans a broad spectrum, including clinical medicine, hospital care coordination, surgical assisting, long-term care, rehabilitation, State Disability, Advanced Directives, and effective collaboration with specialists across various medical fields. My commitment has extended to educating the next generation as Clinical Faculty for Family Medicine Residents, ensuring they are equipped with both skill and compassion. I prioritize staying informed through continuous research to provide the most up-to-date guidance.
Beyond my professional practice, my volunteer work as a CASA advocate for children in foster care reflects my inherent drive to champion the vulnerable. I offer support across the healthcare continuum, from preventative measures to critical conditions and end-of-life care.
