How I Can Help
At Fides Health Advocates, I serve as a compassionate bridge between patients, loved ones, and the often overwhelming healthcare system. Whether you're navigating a new diagnosis, managing a chronic illness, or simply need someone to advocate for your care, I’m here to guide, support, and empower you every step of the way.
As a board-certified nurse practitioner and health advocate, I specialize in simplifying complex medical decisions, identifying barriers to care, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring you or your loved one receives culturally sensitive, timely, and personalized support.
I help patients feel heard, informed, and confident, especially when the system feels confusing or rushed. From medication reviews and treatment education to specialist referrals and second opinion support, I work to make sure nothing important slips through the cracks.
I offer:
Chronic disease navigation (cancer, hypertension, diabetes, etc.)
Care coordination & second opinion preparation
Health literacy & patient empowerment coaching
Preventive care advocacy
Culturally competent support for diverse families
You don’t have to do this alone. Let me walk beside you with compassion, clarity, and clinical expertise.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My journey into patient advocacy began at the bedside—as a hematology-oncology nurse practitioner witnessing firsthand how overwhelmed, unheard, and confused patients and families often felt navigating their care. I saw brilliant, loving people fall through the cracks—not because they didn’t care, but because the system wasn’t built to slow down and see them.
Founding Fides Health Advocates was my response to that reality. I wanted to create a space where patients feel seen, understood, and empowered. My advocacy is deeply personal. I’ve walked with patients through cancer, chronic illness, and complex hospital systems—and I’ve stood with families during moments of fear and uncertainty. Every time, I’ve witnessed the transformation that happens when someone finally feels supported.
My role isn’t just to explain medical terms or organize appointments—though I do that, too. It’s to listen closely, advocate fiercely, and restore dignity in care. Advocacy for me is faith-driven, culturally sensitive, and deeply human. Whether it’s helping a family get a second opinion, guiding a mother through her child’s diagnosis, or ensuring a patient isn’t discharged too soon, I bring both clinical expertise and heartfelt compassion.
This is more than a profession. It’s a calling.
