Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I've been a nurse for over 40 years, starting out as a patient care assistant in a nursing home. Since then I've worked in hospitals, taught clinical nursing at the University of North Carolina and University of Colorado, and now practice case and care management focused on helping people to age-in-place safely, to optimize their health and well-being.
