Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Hi, I’m Audrey. Growing up in a big family, I spent a lot of time with my older relatives. Their stories, wisdom, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on me and sparked a deep respect and love for older adults.

Over the years, I volunteered extensively through Stephen Ministry and found myself naturally stepping in to support friends and neighbors as they navigated the complexities of aging and health challenges. Eventually, I decided to take the next step—earning my board certification as a patient advocate and officially beginning my advocacy and care management work in 2023.

What drives me most is seeing the relief in someone’s eyes when they finally feel heard, informed, and empowered. There's nothing better than hearing, “I feel so much better.”
