Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I have a 40-plus year career as an RN. My nursing career has allowed me to work in hospitals, MD offices, business (pharmaceutical sales), infusion, COO of mail order pharmacy, patient education in patient homes', and clinical research in-home visits. I have always positioned myself as a patient advocate and after supporting several friends and family members through their healthcare journeys; from diagnoses, treatments, hospice, to end of life care, I have the skill set to support patients who need it. This includes going to appointments, treatments, testing, reviewing medical records, reviewing medical bills, providing understandable information for patient and families. I am dedicated to ensuring that you get the information and support during your healthcare journey that you deserve. As your patient advocate, you’ll benefit from my empathy, diverse nursing experience, knowledge of our complicated medical system, and my extensive background in communication with healthcare personnel including physicians, nurses, insurers, and pharmacists.
