Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Janie Dalrymple, RN, has over 20 years of experience in nursing including hospital-based bedside care, home health, and the outpatient clinical setting. She has a strong neurology background and was a Clinic Coordinator for an ALS Clinic for several years. After the unexpected death of her husband and mother at a young age, Janie felt the need to advocate for others finding it difficult to navigate the healthcare system, including dealing with end-of-life issues. She is now a board-certified Patient Advocate and Certified End-of-Life Doula with national proficiency and Elder Care Consultant. She shows care and compassion to her clients with every interaction, and treats them as if they are her own family.
