How I Can Help
I can assist with reducing amounts owed on medical bills. I also offer a comprehensive insurance assessment so that you best understand your benefits including limitations, exceptions and exclusions. I partner with Registered Nurses in the Charleston area that will attend healthcare visits with those who wish to optimize the brief time they have with their healthcare provider. The goal is to ensure that you have the level of clear understanding that is so critical from your doctor. I also assist families where a member of the family cannot attend healthcare visits. I am able to be a set of eyes and ears while with you or your loved one, and can present the results of the visit in layman's terms.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My dad and I had cancer at the same time. We were treated in the same hospital system and had vastly different experiences. His experience was stellar. Mine was horrible. He felt confident every step of the way while I felt unimportant, unintelligent and often like I was on a production line.
The difference?
I had trusted friends with me at appointments, and they would write down what the doctor said, verbatim. When my family had questions, they could only regurgitate what they had written.
Dad also had a trusted friend with him at every healthcare visit. That friend was a medical professional who could optimize Dad's time with the doctor and answer our questions in a detailed manner after the visit.
Dad and I both were successful in our treatments. I founded AmbassaCare as a result of our journeys and an effort to ensure you have the level of clear understanding that is critical during all healthcare visits.
