Battling the unknowns of Endometriosis myself, I had to learn to self advocate and navigate my healthcare alone. After finally receiving proper, expert care for my disease, I began assisting friends and acquaintances with their healthcare struggles. In 2018 my grandfather was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Through a series of unfortunate circumstances and a lack in continuity of care, his cancer was not properly monitored and metastasized while never receiving proper treatment. I got involved from out of state, organizing meetings and communicating with his various specialists and pharmacy. When I was finally able to meet with his physicians in-person. I realized the severity of the situation and how complex it is to manage complex medical cases.
After he passed away, I decided I would do everything in my power to alleviate as much of that stress from others as possible. I began a blog with another Endometriosis patient and EndoSolutions LLC in 2019, to educate and empower. Since its inception, I have helped many individuals learn about their diagnosis and guide them to a medical team who can effectively treat them.
