Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
As a State Administrator patient advocate, and a NJ State Certified Ombudsman volunteer Advocate, I find immense fulfillment in this dynamic profession where each interaction can assist someone with a confusing healthcare system into a navigable journey for those in need. Working 20 years in the senior living industry working with hundreds of families, teaching new administrators at the university level sharing success stories and highlighting needs for this type of compassionate support for individuals and their family members, fostering a more patient-centered individualized approach.
