How I Can Help
If you have multiple medical issues and have no idea where to start, I would like to help you with your medical journey through my advocacy. I aim to be a safe support as well as a sense of consistency throughout your journey. I will also work with your behavioral health treatment team if you're dealing with severe behavioral issues such as medical PTSD, anxiety, and depression as well as autism spectrum disorder. I can help you communicate when you feel as though you're unable due to overwhelm or the stress of what you're going through.
Services I offer are:
• Advocacy over the phone with your primary care physician or specialist. This involves me calling them and having conversations about your situation and how to get you the best care in the timeliest manner possible.
• Reminding you of upcoming appointments either by phone, email, text, or Zoom.
Coordinating your care if your transitioning from inpatient to outpatient after major surgery
• Making appointments for you and reminding you of tasks that need to be done on your end in order for me to be able to help guide your care.
• Offering a holistic approach to your care, which involves not just who you see in the medical offices or hospitals, but also help you with self-care while dealing with medical issues.
• I will work with your therapist, social worker, or any other providers needed in order to come up with a crisis plan during times of stress.
• I will communicate with your providers when you can't. I'm extremely intuitive and any plans regarding my communication and support I consider a living document that can change over time.
I specialize in working with people people with multiple medical issues, including neurological issues such as seizures, movement disorders, blood clotting disorders, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, POTS, MCAS, Marfan's Syndrome, and rare genetic diseases. I also focus on non-traditionally presenting illnesses. My priority is to reassure you that your specific medical needs are being met so you can focus on healing instead of managing your own care.
I help to stop medical gaslighting, and mistreatment due to being a minority or being part of the LGBTQ+ community. My primary focus in advocacy is to make you feel heard, be treated as an equal, like your experience matters, and to find you competent, effective, and compassionate care. I will stand up for you if you are comfortable with me doing so.
If you're looking for a warm, competent, knowledgeable, and respectful advocate, you've come to the right person!

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My patient advocacy story starts early. I helped My great aunt with personal care assistant duties at a very young age. She saw how much caring for people brought me joy, so she involved me in almost every part of the process including hospice and skilled nursing. I had already had an interest in human biology for about a year at that point.
My interest in human biology never waned, it only evolved. I became more interested in advocacy when I was 10 and my father passed away from an easily caught mistake.
I'm 2015, I started to do advocacy for family members. I helped someone win a disability case and ensured that the right specialist were involved, and that thorough documentation was made.
Through word of mouth, I became more involved with advocating for friends with complex medical needs. Since then I have helped people have a better quality of life through advocating for better quality medical care.
