How I Can Help
As a Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years experience, I speak the same language as providers, hospitals and insurance companies. I can be your voice and your advocate before and during a hospitalization, during provider appointments and when dealing with billing or insurance companies. I can provide relief to exhausted and overwhelmed caregivers who need someone to help find and organize resources. Located in the Houston/Galveston area I can provide advocacy and visitation for your loved ones while you are out of town.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My work as a Nurse Practitioner in both the hospital and nursing home setting revealed most, if not all, patients and families desperately need an advocate to speak for them, fight for them, coordinate for them and organize for them. Most patients and families couldn't even summarize what exactly happened during their hospitalization or what they were supposed to do upon discharge to keep them healthy and out of the hospital.
I began educating myself regarding the role of Professional Patient Advocacy and started the process of forming an Advocacy business when my own family experienced 2 health crises within 4 weeks. I was immediately and unexpectedly thrown into the role of Patient Advocate for both my daughter and husband. What I learned over the course of 2 hospitalizations and a prolonged stay at a Neuro Rehab Facility was that navigating the healthcare industry is even more complicated than I realized - and I knew I needed to help others.
