How I Can Help
I am a passionate and devoted patient advocate. I served as Durable Power of Attorney both Medical and Financial, for my mother who passed away in January of 2022 and my uncle who has been diagnosed with dementia. I have done everything from navigating legal documents such as DPOA, POLST, Advanced Care Directives, obtaining and managing trusts; to financial assistance with bills, banking, mortgages, etc; to navigating and attending medical appointments that lead to proper diagnosis, finding and applying for the most appropriate and cost effective assisted living facilities when/if needed, or finding in home skilled and non-skilled care assistance. My mission is to advocate for both the patients, and their families, as their loves ones need to transition to higher levels of care due to accidents and/or long term illness or aging.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I have always been a fierce advocate for others, in both business as well as my personal life. I have helped my own family members navigate health crises, as well as aging and/or end of life care. When I was asked to serve as Durable Power of Attorney (both financial and medical) for both my Mom and my uncle in 2019 and 2020 respectively, I came to understand that not only was I a passionate and skilled advocate, I realized that Advocacy was my calling, and should be my second career.

I have been in customer care/management for 20+ years, business consulting for over 10 years, and now I know that I want to help our aging population and their families navigate the difficult, time consuming, and diverse issues that arise when loved ones need to transition to higher levels of care, due to illness, accidents, or dementia.

I became a Board Certified Patient Advocate in April of 2022 and also began volunteering at Collabria Care which is a Hospice, Palliative Care, Elder Support non-profit in Napa California.
