How I Can Help
Our group offers non-medical, navigational support for patients and family members caring for a loved one. We provide support in all areas to include, but not limited to, medical record keeping, cost of services (insurance and medical billing), sourcing second opinions and clinicals trials, financial assistance options, and medication management.
Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma three weeks after the birth of my youngest daughter in 2008. Over the course of the next ten years, I would relapse six times with each treatment proving more difficult than the last. In 2017, I received a life-saving stem cell transplant thanks to the generosity of my sister who served as my donor. As a patient, I had to take control of my own health as my disease had no known cure. I spent years seeking third and fourth opinions. I researched clinical trials and participated in Lymphoma Research Foundation symposiums to seek greater knowledge and understanding of my disease. I would eventually participate in two clinicals trials.
