How I Can Help
Medical Advocacy:
I help families compile the necessary documents to file formal grievances with medical systems and follow the process closely, ensuring the correct administrators are looped in to the communication.

Trauma Informed patient care planning: Your family has been through a lot already. I make sure your medical team is aware of any past traumatic events and work with them to create care plans that support your child's needs.

Medical History Compilation: I organize and summarize your child’s medical records for easier communication with providers.

Care Coordination: I can put together care teams for your child at one, or across multiple, healthcare systems.

Appointment Preparation and Coordination: I can handle scheduling and preparation for your child’s upcoming visits. Let's work together to prep important questions you want answered.

Post-Procedure Care Planning: Years of experience allow me to develop and implement a care plan that fits your family’s lifestyle.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I started this work after my daughter was diagnosed with severe bilateral hip dysplasia as a newborn. Her early years were filled with treatments, surgeries, and post-op care—and through it all, I learned just how overwhelming and isolating it can be to manage a child’s medical journey.
That experience inspired me to help other parents feel supported, informed, and confident in the care their children receive. At Pediatric Patient Advocates, I work directly with families to navigate the pediatric healthcare system.
I help parents understand medical diagnoses and treatment options, prepare for appointments, coordinate with providers, and translate medical jargon into clear, actionable steps. I also develop home routines that seamlessly incorporate new care needs—like medication schedules, therapy exercises, or recurring appointments—so families can focus on what matters most: time together.
My goal is to bridge the gap between parents and providers—helping families get the best possible health outcomes for their children, while reducing stress along the way.
I am a Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA) and currently pursuing my Masters in Social Work (MSW).
