Commanding Your Care is a private pay senior care consultancy company in Southeast Florida [Palm Beach, Broward, Dade counties] that offers expert professional guidance and medical decision support for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and family caregivers. Our services include patient advocacy, care management, eldercare mediation, senior living placement and referrals, and dementia care training. We provide solutions to improve our clients' quality of life and overall well-being, reduce caregiver stress, and give families peace of mind. Our goal is to work collaboratively with our clients, families, medical teams, social workers, and community resources to create individualized plans of care that meet the specific needs of the client. We provide services to clients in a variety of residential settings.

My background: After a 24-year career in law enforcement, I returned to graduate school to study aging. I have extensive experience working with older adults, people with disabilities, and family caregivers. I previously worked for a large managed care insurance company as a senior care manager and as an independent contractor for the state agency for persons with disabilities. I am a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer, and Certified Senior Advisor. My passion is helping people in need. My vast experience and knowledge about aging and resources for seniors and people with disabilities allows me to effectively help my clients and caregivers.
