How I Can Help
Eldercare Patient Advocate | Nurse-Led Support for Safer Care & Peace of Mind
I specialize in eldercare advocacy, helping families navigate one of the most critical and emotional transitions—placing a loved one into an assisted living facility or nursing home.
As a licensed nurse with real, hands-on experience inside care facilities, I’ve seen firsthand what families often don’t. My mission is to help you stay informed, proactive, and protected every step of the way.
I work with families before placement to develop a clear, strategic plan that helps prevent common and often avoidable issues such as:
Falls
Pressure wounds (bedsores)
Medication errors
Neglect and abuse
Poor communication from staff
I don’t just react to problems—I help you prevent them.
Premium Advocacy Service:
For families who want an extra layer of protection, I offer in-person facility visits. As an actively working nurse, I will:
Visit your loved one’s facility
Observe the care being provided
Identify safety concerns or gaps in care
Provide a detailed, professional report outlining findings and recommendations.
This service is ideal for families who cannot be present regularly but want confidence that their loved one is receiving proper care.
Additional Advocacy Services Include:
While eldercare is my specialty, I also support patients of all ages by:
Coordinating medical appointments
Arranging transportation
Assisting with prior authorizations
Connecting clients to meal delivery services
Identifying and securing local community resources

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My Story: Why I Chose Patient Advocacy
As a traveling licensed nurse, I’ve had the opportunity to work inside a wide range of nursing homes and assisted living facilities—from some of the most prestigious to those struggling to meet basic standards.
No matter the setting, one thing became painfully clear: too many patients are not receiving the level of care they truly need.
I’ve witnessed patients left in soiled clothing for extended periods of time. I’ve seen preventable falls lead to serious injuries like hip fractures and head trauma—without proper interventions ever being put in place afterward. I’ve cared for confused residents who were unable to feed themselves, yet their meals were placed in front of them with no one returning to help. I’ve seen wounds go untreated, leading to dangerous infections like sepsis.
These aren’t rare situations—they happen more often than families realize.
What I also noticed was this: when families are present, informed, and actively involved, the level of care often improves. But the reality is, many families are overwhelmed, busy, or simply unsure of what to look for or what questions to ask.
That’s where everything shifted for me.
I realized that patients need more than care—they need someone who understands the system from the inside and is willing to speak up, pay attention, and hold that system accountable.
Patient advocacy allows me to bridge that gap.
I support families by helping them plan ahead before placement, guiding them on how to prevent common issues, and stepping in when an experienced, trained eye is needed. I know what staff should be doing, when it should be done, and how to recognize when something isn’t right.
Most importantly, I don’t just advocate for your loved one—I advocate for you and your peace of mind.
Because ensuring safe, dignified, and quality care shouldn’t depend on whether a family member can be there every day.
Let me step in, so you don’t have to carry that burden alone.
