Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Working on the front lines of dentistry, I witnessed firsthand the urgent need for greater transparency, compassion, and communication in patient care. My journey took on deeper meaning when I became the legal caretaker for my father, who is permanently disabled. Through that experience, I was empowered to advocate for patients and families who find themselves navigating complex healthcare systems alone.
Too often, individuals are left relying on information from someone who may not have the right training or experience to guide them — leaving them confused, frustrated, and without answers. I founded the National Dental Advocacy Program (NDAP) to change that. NDAP was created to serve as a trusted, knowledgeable resource where patients can find clear answers, compassionate guidance, and expert support — all in one place.
