How I Can Help
I understand how overwhelming it can feel to face a serious diagnosis, manage ongoing care, or navigate complex medical systems.
I will help to make sure patients and families have clarity, guidance, and the support needed to make informed decisions.
I advocate for patients and families by:
Communicating with doctors, nurses, and specialists
Reviewing treatment options and helping weigh decisions
Coordinating care across multiple providers
Supporting nutrition and wellness during and after treatment
Managing pain and comfort needs in advanced or end-of-life care
I advocate to make sure patients receive the right care at the right time and that families feel supported and informed throughout the journey.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I became a patient advocate through my own family’s health challenges. While living in the Middle East, my partner was diagnosed with testicular cancer after a routine checkup. Within a week, he had surgery and was cancer-free. So we thought. Six months later, the cancer returned, and it had spread to his lymph nodes. For the next two years, I supported and advocated for him on his fertility preservation, chemotherapy journey, countless medical appointments, and difficult treatment decisions. I worked closely with his doctors and nurses, researched treatment options, and made sure his nutrition supported his healing. Thankfully, he went on to live cancer-free for years.
Shortly after my partner’s recovery, my father suffered a stroke and was later diagnosed with lung cancer. I became his full-time caregiver for five years. I managed his appointments, advocated for his treatments, and supported him through palliative and end-of-life care. I paid close attention to his comfort and pain management, while also helping him keep his dignity and independence for as long as possible.
Recently, my advocacy extended to another family member who has lived with diabetes for more several years. I continue to support her by helping her improve her nutrition and manage her daily care.
I know what it’s like to sit in a waiting room, to hear life-changing news, and to face tough choices. Through these experiences, I have developed strong skills in care coordination, communication with providers, navigating complex healthcare systems, supporting treatment decisions, and advocating for patient needs across different diagnoses and stages of care.
