How I Can Help
A Voice for You Patient Advocacy provides each client with peace of mind.
We are here to help you to reduce your frustration and stress and to enhance communication between you and your providers. Our healthcare navigation services, eldercare services and medical billing/insurance services can help to support your health, your safety, and your rights.
As an Independent, Board Certified Patient Advocate, and founder of A Voice for You Patient Advocacy, Stephanie has the freedom to make you her focus using a person centered approach. She holds no allegiance to a clinic, hospital, insurance company, pharmacy, or facility. The work that she does is only for you and for your best interest.
Stephanie will educate and empower you based on your individual needs so that you can make the best-informed decisions for yourself or the person you support. Her focus is to educate and listen, show empathy and patience, to research, and to assist in communicating with many different providers.
Stephanie earned an associates degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) and she values her experiences. Despite her love for OT, her career path led her to spend 30 years in the pharmacy industry. She worked both clinically as a Certified Pharmacy Technician for 15 years before transitioning into the General Manager and was responsible for two independent pharmacy locations for another 15 years.
Due to her 30+ years of healthcare experiences in OT and in pharmacy, her patient advocacy strengths include assisting with medication information, medical navigation, and eldercare assistance, and insurance billing and review. Along with her vast collection of resources, knowledge, and skills, she has a strong network of other advocates, and health professionals.
You can breathe a little easier knowing you have her by your side.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
While managing an independent pharmacy operation, I was fortunate enough to meet two local Patient Advocates to discuss how we could work together to better meet the needs of our patients, clients, and customers. I was in awe of the work that they were doing! I new at that meeting, someday this was something I was going to want to pursue. The best part of my work was when I felt like I could really make a difference in the lives of others, and what better way than to work for each individual. Once I realized that I could work independently to meet the specific needs and goals of people who really needed help, I was hooked. After 30 years of working in the pharmacy industry, I left my career and opened my independent practice. I was able to study and obtain my Board Certification for Patient Advocacy (BCPA), I continued my training and earned my certification as a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), and as a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP).
