How I Can Help
Patient advocacy for individuals, families, and caregivers navigating complex chronic illness, rare disease, or undiagnosed conditions.
Most of my clients are dealing with at least one of these situations:
• Seeing multiple specialists who are not communicating with each other
• Facing insurance denials or coverage barriers
• Searching for a diagnosis after years of unanswered questions
• Feeling too exhausted or overwhelmed to keep pushing alone
What I do:
• Care Coordination — I organize your care across providers and institutions. I identify what is missing. I clarify the next steps when the path forward is unclear.
• Insurance Navigation and Appeals — I read and interpret your benefits. I track your claims and denials. I prepare formal appeals, grievances, and expedited review requests.
• Medical Record Review — I review your records and build a clear timeline. I identify documentation that is missing, incomplete, or inconsistent.
• Communication Support — I write letters, call scripts, and structured notes for your providers and insurance company. You do not have to figure out what to say or how to say it.
• Finding the Right Specialists — I identify appropriate specialists and centers of excellence. I research your conditions and compile relevant information in a format you can use.
• Appointment Preparation — I help you prepare questions and priorities before appointments. I write structured talking points so you can focus on the visit instead of trying to remember everything.

My Survivor Support Advocacy Qualifications
I am a survivor of Spondylitis, Gastroparesis, Primary Immune Deficiency (PID), Chronic Migraine, Narcolepsy, Long COVID, ME/CFS, MCAS, Connective Tissue Disease, Rare Disease
I became disabled at age 12. For years, I was misdiagnosed. Eventually I learned I was living with multiple chronic and rare conditions simultaneously.
I know what it feels like to be dismissed, to wait years for answers, and to manage a healthcare system that was not designed for people with complex needs.
I became a Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA) to do this work formally and professionally. I combine direct lived experience with systems-level knowledge of how healthcare and insurance actually function.
My role is not to make decisions for you. My role is to make sure you have the information, documentation, and support to make your own decisions clearly.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My work in patient advocacy is grounded in both lived experience and professional training.
I have navigated the healthcare system as a patient with multiple chronic and rare conditions, including complex care coordination, insurance denials, and prolonged diagnostic uncertainty. This experience gave me direct insight into how healthcare and insurance systems function.
Over time, I became a resource for others facing similar challenges; helping them organize care, understand their coverage, and move forward when they felt stuck in the system.
I formalized that work by becoming a Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA) and building an independent practice focused on complex cases.
Today, I apply both lived experience and systems-level understanding to help clients navigate healthcare with clearer strategy, stronger documentation, and more effective communication.
