How I Can Help
I am passionate about patient advocacy and believe every patient deserves to understand what is happening, what their options are, and what needs to happen next. I take the time to listen, help you get organized, explain information in understandable terms, and help you prepare the right questions for your healthcare team.
I help patients and their loved ones navigate some of the most overwhelming and complicated moments in healthcare. My goal is to make sure you never feel like you have to figure everything out on your own.
One of my most important roles is helping everyone communicate. I work to help keep patients, families, physicians, specialists, hospitals, insurance companies, and other members of the healthcare team on the same page so that important information does not get lost and decisions can be made with the most complete and accurate information available.
My services include:
Coordinating care among physicians, specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare providers
Helping you prepare for appointments and know what questions to ask
Organizing medications, test results, appointments, medical records, and other healthcare information
Helping you understand your treatment plan and next steps
Assisting with referrals, scheduling, and communication between providers
Helping navigate insurance issues, prior authorizations, denials, and appeals
Identifying financial assistance programs and community resources
Connecting you with transportation, home health, rehabilitation, palliative care, hospice, durable medical equipment, and other supportive services
Helping patients and caregivers prepare for transitions from the hospital to home, rehabilitation, or another level of care
Providing guidance and support for caregivers and family members
Helping you identify and communicate your healthcare goals, needs, and preferences
Creating a personalized organization and action plan so you and your family know what needs to happen next
I believe educated patients are empowered patients. My job is not to make healthcare decisions for you, but to help make sure you have accurate information, understand your choices, and feel prepared to make informed decisions that are right for you.
I understand that healthcare concerns do not always happen between 9 and 5. I make myself available to my clients when they need guidance and support, particularly when something changes, questions arise, or they are unsure what to do next.
I work with individuals and families facing cancer, chronic illness, serious illness, and complicated healthcare situations. I provide local support in Arizona and remote navigation services nationwide.
Above all, I want you and your family to feel heard, informed, organized, and supported. I will work alongside you to help ensure your healthcare team and the people who love and care for you are communicating and working toward the best possible plan for your individual needs and goals.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Healthcare navigation has been part of my life for more than 15 years. I spent much of my career working in oncology and hematology, where I saw firsthand how overwhelming a serious diagnosis can become—not only medically, but emotionally, financially and logistically.
I watched patients and families struggle to understand what came next, who to call, what questions to ask, how to manage appointments and medications, and how to deal with insurance, referrals, authorizations and the many other pieces of care that can quickly become overwhelming. Too often, people were expected to navigate an incredibly complicated healthcare system while also coping with one of the most difficult times in their lives.
That is what led me to patient advocacy and navigation.
Over the years, my role has grown from helping patients within the medical practice to helping people navigate the entire healthcare journey. I have worked in oncology patient navigation, medical assisting, care coordination and healthcare administration, and I now serve as a Principal Illness Navigator and Director of PINs.
I believe patients deserve more than a list of phone numbers or instructions to “call your insurance company.” Sometimes they need someone who understands the healthcare system, knows what questions to ask, can help connect the pieces, and will stay beside them while they figure out what comes next.
That is the advocate I strive to be.
My goal is simple: to help patients and their loved ones feel less overwhelmed, better informed, more organized and more confident as they navigate their care. No one should have to figure out a complicated healthcare journey alone.
