How I Can Help
Not Your Average Joe provides clients with a comprehensive assessment that explores the unique social, emotional, and physical needs of each client. This assessment varies in length and time depending on the client's individual needs. Together, we explore the services available and provide referrals to appropriate agencies. This thorough evaluation is instrumental for identifying any gaps in existing care, addressing obstacles, and then providing a care plan for achieving improved quality of life.
Not Your Average Joe helps clients explore their needs and address them confidentially and collaboratively with key professionals, including primary care doctors, specialists, caregivers, family members, and eldercare attorneys, who can provide the greatest support. Effective advocacy insures all parties gain knowledge and understanding, ask the right questions, and demonstrate accountability with their services on behalf of your loved one. Advocacy is essential within today's healthcare system when your loved ones are in need.
Not Your Average Joe is your starting point for trusted, local resources to assist with aging in place or a possible transition. We believe in quality of care, not quantity; continuity of care, not short-term solutions. Our clients receive the reliable medical, emotional, and physical support they need and deserve.
Not Your Average Joe excels in the details of caring for loved ones at any level with unmatched customer service that is comprehensive, caring, and collaborative. Whether you want a consult, a comprehensive assessment, or the full implementation of a care plan, let us partner with you to enable sound decision-making that ensures the quality care you deserve and your loved ones.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Not Your Average Joe was inspired by Amy's friend, Joe. Joe lived alone and was trying to manage his own physical, emotional, and healthcare needs. However, the demands grew too difficult for him to handle by himself. Amy was able to step in respectfully to provide much-needed resources and the proper care to fill in the gaps. As a result, Joe's quality of life improved significantly. From Joe, and many clients since, Amy has learned the importance of dignity and grace when assisting others--the true foundation of her calling to serve others well by going "above and beyond."
