How I Can Help
Your healthcare navigation guide - True North turns frustration and uncertainty into clarity and confidence.

We work with a wide range of individuals and their families—from those facing new or complex medical diagnoses to older adults navigating care transitions. Some need support managing a chronic condition, others are adult children managing care for aging parents from a distance, and many are families, just like mine, trying to make sense of their options.

No matter the situation, we provide the expertise and guidance needed to regain a sense of control and move forward with confidence. From preparing for a doctor’s visit to coordinating hospital discharges, we help clients and their families understand their options, navigate the system, and make informed decisions—so they don’t feel lost, unheard, or alone. Ensuring nothing slips through the cracks, we provide clarity, guidance, and peace of mind. If you or someone you know is struggling to navigate the healthcare system, let’s connect. We’d love to be your compass in the storm.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
As a trauma surgeon and intensivist, I spent years navigating high-stakes, high-pressure medical situations. I saw firsthand how overwhelming and confusing the healthcare system can be—even for those with medical training.

But I also experienced this challenge personally. When my dad was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer, our family was thrown into the chaos of healthcare - trying to navigate insurance denials, second and third opinions, complications, appointments and radiation treatments, and transitions between hospital, rehab centers, and home. We struggled to get the right care at the right time. That experience showed me just how critical it is to have a knowledgeable advocate by your side. Although my dad passed, his legacy lives on in True North Patient Advocates, LLC.
