How I Can Help
I help adults and caregivers who feel overwhelmed by medical bills, insurance paperwork, multiple appointments or the daily challenges of managing a chronic condition. You do not have to figure out every next step alone.
• I help you organize your healthcare questions before appointments so you can focus on what matters most to you.
• I help you find providers who participate in your insurance plan and prepare questions about access and coverage.
• I assist with scheduling appointments and keeping track of follow-up tasks.
• I help you understand insurance letters, explanations of benefits and coverage information.
• I review medical bills with you, identify questions or possible discrepancies, and help you request clarification.
• I help you organize claim and appeal paperwork, supporting documents and important deadlines.
• I help you request and organize medical records into a useful binder or digital file.
• With your written authorization, I communicate with healthcare offices and insurers to help clarify information and coordinate next steps.
• I help you locate community resources and assistance programs and understand their application requirements.
• I provide ongoing organizational and navigation support for people living with chronic conditions and their caregivers.
Your initial consultation is always free. We will discuss your needs, the services that may help and any ongoing fees before you decide to proceed. Individual services, monthly subscriptions and three- or six-month chronic-condition support programs are available.
My role is nonclinical: I help you understand information, organize your options and communicate your preferences while your healthcare professionals provide medical advice and treatment.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My journey through colon cancer showed me how overwhelming healthcare can be—even with my background in the medical field and medical billing and coding. I found myself navigating confusing insurance information, medical bills, appointments and paperwork while trying to focus on my health. If it was this difficult for me, I could only imagine how hard it must be for someone without that background.
That realization inspired me to co-found Bellume Health Advocates. I want to help others feel heard, understand their options and find their next steps without feeling so alone. I know what it feels like to be the patient, and that experience shapes the compassion and determination I bring to advocating for others.
That is more than a business mission to me. It is personal. It is my passion. And it is my purpose.
