Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My journey into patient advocacy grew out of my own experience living with chronic illness and being dismissed or gaslit by providers. I had to learn to speak up, do my own research, and demand the care I deserved. While in nursing school, I saw how often our healthcare system fails marginalized communities—especially queer, trans, BIPOC, and disabled folks.

Now, I use my privilege, knowledge, and lived experience to stand beside others. I believe in radical acceptance, informed choice, and care that honors every part of who you are. Everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and respected in their care and I’m here to make sure that happens.
