Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
As an Emergency Medicine physician, I have advocated for what is necessary and right for my patients for years. I practiced Emergency Medicine for over 20 years and not only cared for and treated patients in their greatest time of need, but also advocated for my patients to ensure they received the care and follow up they needed and deserved.

Currently, I serve as a Physician Advisor where I perform detailed medical records review with summaries to make recommendations on status determinations for hospitalized patients as well as assisting with patient appeals when denied by their insurance company. I strongly advocate on behalf of these patients which requires extensive knowledge and experience bridging law and medicine in addition to requiring understanding of regulatory compliance in health care.

For over 20 years, I have served as an advocate for friends and family when they've encountered health challenges and difficulty in navigating this complex healthcare system. From helping them understand their medical condition/illness, reviewing and summarizing their medical records, demystifying medications, walking them through what to expect during their ER visit or hospitalization, assessing whether a medical error occurred, and translating what the physician said to them in easy-to-understand language. As a board-certified Patient Advocate, I now dedicate myself to offering my patient advocacy services to you!
