Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Carrie Ingerman’s journey to becoming a patient advocate is deeply personal and driven by her firsthand experiences. At 18, she underwent three back surgeries, which introduced her to the immense challenges of navigating the healthcare system—even with two physician parents supporting her. This experience underscored the complexities patients face in understanding their medical options and coordinating care.

Motivated by these insights, Carrie founded Comprehensive Home Health Solutions to bridge gaps in care, providing personalized, integrated solutions for patients. Her work focuses on empowering individuals and families to navigate the complexities of medical systems with confidence and ease.

Carrie’s advocacy extends to areas such as improving medical communication, creating life care plans, and assisting with insurance challenges. Her goal is to ensure patients receive the care they need while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.
