I consider myself a South Florida "referral specialist." I have extensive knowledge of our local hospitals and long term care facilities. I'm also highly skilled at helping patients and families find the right advocate, even if it's not me. Because of my knowledge and connections, I'm often sought out by relatives of elderly South Floridians who live out of state. Many families and loved ones find comfort having a "boots on the ground" advocate to make sure the care team communicates and coordinates, so that patients get the best out of our health system. I'm a passionate elder care professional with the knowledge and determination to assist South Florida residents and their out of state loved ones.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Early in my career I worked as Mental Health Professional for a Community Mental Health Center in a small metropolitan area. I volunteered my time on various nonprofit boards and committees. I transitioned into guardianship and elder care after serving as a trustee for families. I acquired a vast knowledge of community, social service, and political resources that helped me understand the healthcare system from both the provider and consumer perspective. Now, I use that knowledge to identify healthcare obstacles facing my clients and take immediate action to help overcome them. Two top priorities for me are helping to reduce medical errors and focusing on the optimum well-being of my clients.
