My Survivor Support Advocacy Qualifications
I am a survivor of advocating for my husband's heart transplant & 25 years of post-transplant care
My passion for advocacy is based on my husband's ten year wait for a heart transplant and the 25 years of post-transplant care...hip, hip, hooray! In this time I have been able to discern patterns for success in hospitalizations and have written "Surviving the Hospital - Six Secrets Every Patient Should Know", set to release Summer 2025.
Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I know that informed patients receive better treatment—and small changes in approach can yield significant improvements in care quality. I discovered this truth during my husband Bill's ten-year heart transplant journey, transforming from a vulnerable bystander into an empowered healthcare advocate.

I further developed my patient advocacy expertise during my husband's twenty-five years of post-transplant care. My professional background, combined with this extensive medical experience, gives me unique insight into how informed patients achieve consistently better outcomes.

I understand that most people enter hospitals feeling unprepared and overwhelmed. My systematic approach transforms this vulnerability into confidence through clear, empathetic guidance that has been tested in real medical crises. Your health is invaluable, and these insights can empower you to navigate healthcare challenges with confidence and clarity.

Based in Cle Elum, Washington, I help others transform their healthcare experiences through strategic knowledge and preparation.
