Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I have been working in healthcare for over 30 years. My journey began as a medical assistant, progressed to Registered Nurse (RN), and for last 16 years as a practicing Family Nurse Pracitioner (FNP). This breadth of experience gives me a unique perspective on healthcare, seeing it from multiple angles and understanding the challenges patients face at every level. I have seen first hand how complicated healthcare has become and difficult to navigate when my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer. I recognize the inconsistencies and challenges many face in the healthcare system.
