How I Can Help
Radical listening, actionable data-driven insights, and collaborative planning are key to making transformational moves toward better health and total wellness. I help people facing complex medical situations understand their options, prepare for critical decisions, and access the care they deserve. My approach is holistic, non-judgmental, relational, and results-driven. Drawing on lived experience as both a patient and caregiver, and over a decade of healthcare strategy experience and doula work, I support individuals and families navigating complicated medical systems and important life transitions with clarity and confidence.
I help clients:
• clarify confusing or conflicting medical advice
• prepare strategically for medical and specialist appointments
• organize medical records, symptoms, and priorities
• advocate for appropriate care, testing, and monitoring
• identify high-quality providers, specialists, and treatment options
• coordinate practical support at home, school, or work during illness, treatment, or recovery
Areas of focus include:
• Preconception planning and fertility care, including in vitro fertilization (IVF) and other assisted reproductive technologies (ART)
• Hormonal, metabolic, and gastrointestinal conditions affecting fertility or pregnancy such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), type 2 diabetes (T2D), and obesity
• Neurological considerations in pregnancy, including concussion and traumatic brain injury (TBI) history during preconception, pregnancy, or postpartum recovery
• Vascular and complex conditions including May–Thurner syndrome (MTS)
• High-risk pregnancy and medically complex births, including gestational diabetes (GDM) and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, including preeclampsia
• Pregnancy and infant loss advocacy, including miscarriage, stillbirth, recurrent pregnancy loss, navigating medical follow-up after loss, and preparing for future pregnancies
• Bringing babies home after the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with medically complex needs
• Motherhood after serious illness or trauma, including cancer survivorship and other complex medical histories
• Patient advocacy for students navigating acute injury, chronic illness, or disability accommodations while pursuing academic goals.
Being a patient is already hard enough. I can help navigate healthcare with clarity, confidence, and the support you deserve—so you can focus on what matters most.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
"A physician is obligated to consider more than a diseased organ, more even than the whole man - he must view the man in his world." —Harvey Cushing
This perspective has long inspired my work in healthcare. With more than a dozen years in healthcare management consulting, experience as a second-generation doula, and a lifelong practice as a writer and poet, I am drawn to the stories that our bodies tell. As ZDoggMD has said, illness is "just a story your body is telling"—and I believe those stories do not stop our lives; they imbue them with meaning.
I bring this philosophy into patient advocacy. With lived experience as a patient, managing May–Thurner Syndrome and other complex conditions, and as a caregiver and guide for my immigrant parents and younger sister navigating an often overwhelming healthcare system, I have learned the power of clarity, coordination, and compassionate support. I know how challenging and necessary it is to help patients orchestrate care, bridge gaps, and act with confidence, so they, too, can make informed decisions, self-advocate, and flourish even amid complexity.
I hope to be a hand to hold and a steady presence during difficult moments—helping you tell your story, understand your options, and navigate the system with clarity and confidence, while honoring the meaning, beauty, and fullness of your life.
