How I Can Help
I partner with patients and families who are navigating a new diagnosis, managing chronic or complex conditions, recovering from a recent hospitalization, or struggling to coordinate care across multiple doctors. As a registered nurse, Certified Alzheimer’s Coach, and Board-Certified Nurse Nutritionist, I manage the stressful medical details so you can focus on your health and peace of mind.

How I Advocate for You

Translate Medical Information: I review diagnoses, test results, and discharge plans with you and explain them in clear, plain language.

Organize Your Care: I help you build a structured medical binder containing your history, medication schedules, provider details, and important contacts.

Coordinate Your Healthcare Team: I bridge the gap between your primary care provider, specialists, hospitals, and home health agencies to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Provide Specialized Memory Support: I guide families managing Alzheimer's or dementia with behavioral changes, communication strategies, and safety planning.

Evaluate Care & Housing Options: I help you weigh the decisions around aging safely at home, assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing facilities.

Navigate Insurance & Appointments: I prepare you for rushed doctor visits so your questions are answered, and I organize details to help you handle Medicare or coverage denials.

My ultimate goal is to ensure you feel deeply informed, meticulously organized, and completely confident about your healthcare decisions.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My Patient Advocate Story

Throughout my nursing career, I have seen how overwhelming healthcare can become for patients and families. A new diagnosis often comes with unfamiliar medical language, multiple appointments, changing medications, insurance questions, and important decisions that must be made quickly. Even the most capable people can feel lost when they are frightened, exhausted, or trying to care for someone they love.

I became a patient advocate because I wanted to give people the time, attention, and guidance that are often difficult to receive in a busy healthcare system. Patients deserve to understand what is happening, know what questions to ask, and feel confident that important details are not being overlooked.

My work as a registered nurse, Certified Alzheimer’s Coach, and NNCB Board-Certified Nurse Nutritionist allows me to support patients from several perspectives. I have a particular understanding of the challenges families face when a loved one is experiencing memory loss or dementia, as well as the role nutrition can play in aging, recovery, and chronic illness.

As an advocate, I am independent of hospitals, insurance companies, and healthcare organizations. My responsibility is to the patient and family. I listen, organize, explain, coordinate, and help people move forward with a clearer understanding of their options and next steps.
