How I Can Help
I can help patients and families navigate the health care maze, whether for adults or children. I can help advocate for medical treatments or for denied claims. I can guide people to understand what insurance will and won't cover and advocate from someone inside the field, which really helps because healthcare providers have their own language - I can translate so everyone understands. I enjoy helping people get the best care for them as each person has individual needs and desires. I enjoy improving lives and solving puzzles so people can thrive.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Having worked as a physical therapist in the acute, subacute, outpatient, hospice and homecare arenas for 30 years, I've learned a lot about peoples' needs. Having married a neurologist and experiencing my own health issues, I learned even more about our medical system, and how important it is to have someone in the know helping to guide you. I've taken lemons and made lemonades and all the information I learned I want to bring to others so they can navigate their health and wellness journeys with ease. I've been able to help patients by advocating with boxing gloves against their insurance companies, ultimately saving them 100s of thousands of dollars, and getting them the care they needed. I have succeeded in protecting children with autism and other disabilities from incorrectly processed claims. I've been able to help seniors navigate their health concerns by listening to their issues and directing them to the right healthcare professionals near them. I currently manage care for patients in various states, and hire and fire staff from afar, keeping people comfortable in their preferred location but using the professionals they feel most comfortable with.
