How I Can Help
Eye on Elders was created to support people living with dementia and their care partners. By offering a free consultation to determine where you are in the long journey of dementia caregiving we then provide an in-home assessment to evaluate safety, capacity, caregiver knowledge and abilities. From there, you are provided with a thorough report offering future options for support and resources to help make the caregiving journey easier as well as helping you to communicate with and care for your loved one with dementia.
Some supports I can offer include:
*Attending doctors appointments with your loved one, coordinating care and providing care partners with a full report.
*Directing care partners to resources, supports, and alternate living arrangements.
*Speaking to capacity in guardianship hearings and direct and support families in legal matters.
*Supporting siblings, large or remote families in coordinating care from afar or when opinions differ.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Eye on Elders came from decades of caring for people living with dementia. Both professionally and personally, I have supported people living with dementia including my mother, two grandparents and two aunts as well as serving as the dementia care coordinator for the Maryland Veterans Health Administration. Through a deep rooted love and connection for people living with cognitive impairment, I offer caring and thoughtful support, education and fierce advocacy. I have helped countless families wade through the confusion of our healthcare system and guided them in the direction they choose for their aging loved one.
