How I Can Help
I can attend appointments with you, and before the appointment, review with you the reasons you're seeing that practitioner.
I can suggest questions you may want to ask, or I can ask questions for you (if you prefer), to better understand the plan of care and why the plan of care is recommended.
I have the knowledge to ask about other alternatives to recommended care.
I can help you to understand and implement a care plan.
I can help with suggestions of things that might help you to have less negative reaction to certain treatments and can work with you with your provider with those suggestions.

My Survivor Support Advocacy Qualifications
I am a survivor of Uterine Cancer, Back, Neck, Shoulder issues, Traumatic Brain Injury, Mold exposure caused illness
Sharing my personal situations has given many people hope for their situations. I'm able to be both realistic and hopeful in seemingly dire situations. I've heard enough that I remain calm and empathetic in the face of disturbing circumstances. Patients tell me I know more about them than anyone else. I seem to get to the deeper issues and help to give clear guidance, as possible. Decades of listening to patients and counseling as appropriate. My training and experience practicing BodyTalk helps me to help those I work with more completely. I'm a licensed chiropractor and at an age of preferring to do work that's less physically demanding.
Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I had uterine cancer. Doctors thought I'd be dead, now more than 3 years ago. I'm well and have been climbing mountains the past 3 summers. Initially I was told I needed an immediate hysterectomy. I said NO, let me explore other alternatives. I still have my uterus, and it's at it's normal size. I'm over age 65. I feel that I was given the gift of continuing to live so that I can help others to return to being healthy, or to be the best they can in their situation. I feel my purpose is to share my knowledge and my personal experiences.
