Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My story began when my internist drew a diagram of my body and highlighted tumors in my neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis. I was diagnosed with late stage lymphoma.

I went through eight months of chemotherapy and came close to death. I’ve been in remission since and came away with a deep understanding of how healthcare is delivered and financed. I help patients understand their diagnosis, find the best care and treatment, and utilize their health benefits maximally to access the healthcare they need.
