How I Can Help
I am a Board Certified Patient Advocate, former President of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Hampshire, and long-term lymphoma survivor. This combination of personal experience and executive healthcare leadership gives me a distinctive understanding of the challenges patients and families face when navigating a serious diagnosis.

I help clients understand their diagnoses, identify leading specialists, evaluate treatment options, and access the highest-quality care available. I also help them navigate health insurance requirements, maximize their benefits, address coverage barriers, and secure the services and treatments to which they are entitled under their health plans.

Having led a major health plan, I understand how healthcare is delivered, financed, authorized, and reimbursed. I also bring an extensive professional network across healthcare providers and payer organizations. My role is to provide the knowledge, guidance, and advocacy clients need to make informed decisions and move through the healthcare system with greater clarity and confidence to obtain the best healthcare available for your diagnosis, condition, and/or treatment.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
My commitment to patient advocacy is rooted in personal experience. It began when my internist drew a diagram of my body and identified tumors in my neck, chest, abdomen, and pelvis. I had been diagnosed with late-stage lymphoma.

Over the next eight and a half months, I underwent intensive chemotherapy and came close to losing my life. I have remained in remission ever since. That experience gave me an enduring understanding of how complex, frightening, and overwhelming a serious diagnosis can be—and how difficult it can be for patients and families to navigate the healthcare system when they are most vulnerable.

My professional experience brings an equally important perspective. As the former President of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Hampshire, I developed extensive expertise in how healthcare is financed, covered, authorized, and adjudicated. Today, I bring this uncommon combination of personal experience and healthcare leadership to every client I serve.

As a Board Certified Patient Advocate, I help patients and their families understand their diagnoses, identify leading specialists and appropriate treatment options, navigate complex medical decisions, and maximize their health insurance benefits. My purpose is clear: to ensure that every client feels informed, supported, and empowered to access the highest-quality care available.
