How I Can Help
Dementia Dimensions helps caregivers and individuals navigate and find solutions to the challenges dementia has brought into their lives. Doctor appointments often feel short, allowing limited discussions regarding dementia support. My services are focused on decreasing overwhelm and stress, while feeling confident with making decisions. Not only do I offer strategies to support those with cognitive challenges, but I also give you the tools you need to prioritize your own wellness as a caregiver. For those living with dementia, I help with advanced care planning to protect your wishes and rights to your healthcare and quality of life.

I help with topics such as creating a safe environment, making decisions as a caregiver, questions and concerns to discuss at doctor appointments, communicating effectively, community resources, and alternative care options. My approach is to listen first, provide resources and tools for now and for the future, and educate care partners about the course of dementia— including physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges that may impact the whole family.

Dementia is not a “one-size-fits-all” approach. I provide a person-centered approach and tailored support to help you navigate your unique challenges, enhancing caregiving experiences and involving caregivers to join individuals in their perceived reality.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I founded Dementia Dimensions to provide much needed expert guidance to families, caregivers, and individuals with dementia where everyone feels heard and supported. I earned a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology where I worked many years providing care to individuals living with dementia. This is where I noticed the lack of dementia support for families and caregivers. I am inspired to advocate for those living with dementia and to support families through the caregiver journey. It is possible to live a beautiful and fulfilling life, despite living with dementia and the challenges that come with being a caregiver.
