Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
Several members of my family and friends were all diagnosed with different movement disorders over a short time period. My resourcefulness and availability enabled me to mitigate the stress of a new diagnosis for several people. Navigating a new diagnosis of a chronic condition is a full time job, my ability to assist in this process enabled patients to focus on growing their careers and personal lives and not have their focus on the healthcare system deprive them of some of the typical rites of passage.
