How I Can Help
As a Medical Health Care Advocate and Senior Care Provider, I serve as a trusted partner for patients and their loved ones, helping them navigate the more than often complex healthcare system with confidence and dignity. I advocate for the patients needs, ensure their voice is heard, facilitate communication between healthcare providers and families, and help coordinate care to support the best possible outcomes. I provide guidance during medical appointments, assist with understanding diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and available resources, while helping families make informed decisions. My goal is to reduce stress, promote quality of life, protect patient rights, and ensure compassionate, person-centered care every step of the way.

Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
I have been inspired to be a healthcare provider and advocate since the age of 21 years old. I have cared for patients within my family and outside of my family. I know first-hand how important it is to have someone to help you navigate through medical decisions, however when you have someone who genuinely has a heart for this kind of profession. After caring for my Grandmother, my Dad, three Aunties, and 1 Uncle and a host of family friends and acquaintances. There is nothing more gratifying than to see and hear the relief coming from someone who has just been given a fatal diagnosis or have just been able to understand the diagnosis or prognosis the doctor has given. As long as I live I know that this is my calling and I have to finish strong. The biggest take away is the journey I took with my incredible husband of 43 years who passed away from Myelofibrosis being his advocate and learning how it can be so difficult to navigate and understand some of the processes, problems and mistakes that can occur when you have no one to help navigate the waters of the medical industry and their profession.
