Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
After more than four decades in the corporate healthcare world, I found myself facing one of the most personal and profound challenges of my life: becoming a full-time caregiver for my parent living with Alzheimer’s disease. The decision to leave my corporate career wasn’t easy, but it was necessary to provide the care, dignity, and support my loved one deserved.
Through this experience, I witnessed firsthand the overwhelming complexity of our healthcare system, even for someone with deep industry knowledge. That’s what inspired me to start my own small advocacy business: to guide others through the maze of medical decisions, insurance hurdles, and care coordination with clarity and compassion.
I bring not only professional expertise, but lived experience. My mission is to empower families, caregivers, and patients with the tools and support they need to navigate healthcare with confidence and peace of mind

Formal Education
Weber State University - Health Administration
Multiple Certification programs
Additional Skills
I am a certified Healthcare Compliance Officer and a multi-certified medical coder with a strong clinical foundation. Over the course of my career, I’ve conducted in-depth medical billing and coding reviews for a range of organizations, including commercial insurance carriers, Medicare and Medicaid programs, and the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
In addition to working within payer and regulatory environments, I also extend these services directly to healthcare consumers and patients helping them understand their medical bills, ensure coding accuracy, and advocate for fair and transparent healthcare practices.
