How I Can Help
Navigating healthcare can feel overwhelming when you are managing appointments, multiple providers, unfamiliar medical information, or the care of someone you love. I provide personalized, one-on-one support to help patients, caregivers, and families feel informed, organized, and confident about what comes next. Here are some of the ways I can advocate for you:

*Coordinate care across multiple providers - Keep referrals, testing, follow-up needs, and outstanding action items organized while helping improve coordination across your healthcare team.

*Prepare for important medical appointments - Organize your concerns and questions before appointments and, when appropriate, attend virtually to provide support, take notes, and capture next steps.

*Communicate effectively with your healthcare team - Help communicate questions and concerns, follow up on unresolved issues, and clarify conflicting or confusing information.

*Organize medical records and navigate patient portals - Assist with obtaining and organizing records, navigating portals, and identifying information that may need clarification or follow-up.

*Understand your healthcare information - Make complicated healthcare information easier to understand through plain-language explanations and reliable research so you can better understand your options.

*Find the right resources and support - Identify healthcare services, community resources, programs, and professionals that align with your individual needs.

*Navigate a second opinion - Gather relevant records, prepare focused questions, and organize information so you can make the most of a second-opinion consultation.

* Develop educational resources and advocacy materials to help patients, caregivers, and families better understand and navigate healthcare and community support systems

My goal is to simplify the healthcare journey, reduce the burden of managing it alone, and help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

My Survivor Support Advocacy Qualifications
I am a survivor of Diabetes Insipidus/Arginine Vasopressin Deficiency (AVP-D), Hyponatremia, Neurosurgery & Recovery.
My lived experience navigating a complex healthcare journey began in 2002, when unexplained and increasingly debilitating symptoms led to repeated emergency room visits, multiple specialists, extensive diagnostic testing, and navigation across insurance companies and healthcare systems. In 2003, I was diagnosed with a craniopharyngioma requiring neurosurgery.

Following surgery, I was diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus, now known as Arginine Vasopressin Deficiency (AVP-D), a rare condition I have managed and navigated for more than two decades. As a survivor of a life-changing diagnosis and major neurosurgery, I understand firsthand the uncertainty, fear, and adjustment that can accompany a complex healthcare journey.

My lived experience includes searching for answers when a diagnosis was unclear, advocating to be heard, navigating complex care, and adapting to life with a rare chronic condition. These experiences are among the “whys” behind my founding of Angels on Two Feet Advocacy LLC and allow me to bring firsthand understanding, compassion, and perspective to others facing life-changing diagnoses and uncertain healthcare journeys.
Why I Became A Professional Health Care Advocate
For more than 20 years, I have navigated the healthcare system on behalf of myself and family members living with chronic health conditions. Through these experiences, I learned firsthand how overwhelming it can be to coordinate care, communicate with multiple providers, understand treatment options, and make informed decisions during uncertain times.

My path to professional advocacy was deeply shaped by the six years I spent advocating for my sister through complex medical needs, hospitalizations, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care, and hospice. That journey taught me the value of having someone by your side who can ask the right questions, connect the pieces, and make sure your voice is heard.

After more than 25 years of leading complex projects and solving problems professionally, I recognized that my professional skills and personal advocacy experience could help others navigate healthcare with greater clarity and confidence. That realization led me to found Angels on Two Feet Advocacy LLC, where I now help patients, caregivers, and families feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, confused, or alone on your healthcare journey, let me walk alongside you—helping you find clarity, confidence, and a path forward.
